What started over 30 years ago as Sunday ride in his Uncle's 1963 Red Corvette
Coupe turned into a lifelong fascination with Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, and
Hot Rods. For years before he could even legally drive, he asked his dad on
Sundays for the classified section so he could hopefully find the car that
someday he could own. Even though there was little money in the piggy bank,
many of these afternoons were spend begging for a ride to go look at
locally listed old car. Yet for that kid there was one little problem. It was
hard to buy an old muscle car with teenagers earnings off of just grass
cutting.
After years of this endless Sunday routine between father and son, on the sonÍŠ 16th birthday his dad handed him a set of shining keys with a Mustang First
Generation emblem on it and said, head to the garage. With almost
tears coming out of his eyes and a hug to his father, he ran out to see his new
dream ride that was secretly parked out in the garage the night before. And
there it was...sitting in the middle of the garage was a 1966 Mustang. All 12
inches of it! All it needed was some model airplane glue and a few hours of
work on the kitchen table and he would have it put together!
As you can imagine, the scene in this peaceful home that afternoon was now a
little more than just tears of happiness between a father and son. This young
teenager began a recital of many words of love and appreciation for his father
with the wise guy sense of humor.
After 8 years of college to get a 4 year degree, they called a truce and being
declared being even.
Over the next two decades, this young kid slowly began to grow up and develop a
fascination with going to local car shows to meet owners and talk about their
cars. Along the way he ended up talking to hundreds of owners and taking
thousands of photographs at these events. One of the things he felt at each of
these events was a tremendous sense of Pride, Passion, and Sense of Community
among all the Auto Enthusiasts that came to these events year after year. It
didnà¡tter what walks of life people were from or whether the event was one
of the big January Shows in Arizona or a local cruise night in Illinois Everyone had one thing in common. They loved cars and loved to talk about them!
Fast forward a few years to modern day. After realizing that being a
professional student wasn৯ing to pay the bills, he set off into the real
world and got a job. But he could never shake the passion he always felt for
cars, people who own them, and the events they are shown off in. He always felt
that there must be a way to bring all this together for thousands of people
into one common area. Then after developing a solid understanding of how online
communities can bring together people from all over the world with similar
interests, Classic Auto Network was born.
The Classic Auto Network is a community network of Auto Enthusiasts that was
created to bring together members so they can exchange information on Classic
Cars, Muscle Cars, & Hot Rods. In addition to the community aspects, you
will also find that this is an easy way to buy or sell a vehicle, find our
business partners that specialize in Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, or
provide services related to our community.
If you looking to sell a Classic Car, Muscle Car, or Hot Rod, you will find our
sales process to be one of the easiest and most effective on the internet. When
you list a vehicle it automatically will be emailed to the members that are
looking for that type of vehicle. This is an extremely effective way to reach
targeted buyers who are looking specifically for your vehicle versus just
browsing.
During the development of our community, we spent a lot of time talking to Auto
Enthusiasts to better understand what they wanted out of an online community.
Outside of the meeting other people, and finding cars, they said that they wish
there was an easy way to not just find what the current values of cars are, but
more importantly , how much the values have changed over the last 1 to 5 years.
